WHY ANALOG FILM?
We at Silbersalz Film are always looking for new techniques, how to evolve and ameliorate the experiences for our clients.
Analog film has an unparalleled look and feel. It has its own unique character, adding another spice to every shot.
The colors are different, the textures pop out, there is an equalization in the image that happens naturally and skin
and highlights just look beautiful.
THE PROJECT – I FINISH.
I Finish explores the passion of a professional athlete sharing his experiences in the ring.
The Sport of Boxing is all about stamina and hard work. The film was shot with an Arri 235 – 35mm (2-Perf) film camera and
Cooke S4i lenses on Kodak Vision3 200T film stock.
SHOOTING ANALOG DOES NOT MEAN THAT EVERYTHING IS MORE COSTLY IN TERMS OF TIME AND MONEY.
With this project we used only a single roll of film and kept things simple. Everything was shot in 3 hours.
Finishing and Post was completed in less than two days.
